Enjoy 6 exquisite dried Blenheim Apricots dipped in Valrhona 62% dark chocolate.
The Blenheim variety, once the most widely planted in the Santa Clara Valley region of California, fell out of favor in the 1960s, as other earlier maturing and easily transportable varieties won over. They have seen a resurgence however at local farmer's markets where long distance shipping is not an issue.
Our Blenheims are grown and then dried by Fairhaven Orchards in Hollister, CA. They are both sweet and tart with an intense aroma of honeysuckle. These treats are very different from the Turkish variety that is most often sold by chocolatiers. Unlike their foreign counterparts, our apricots are not soaked in a sugar solution so they are drier, but much tastier. We think you will love them! (Vegan.)

Tart and delicious

These chocolate-covered apricots are SO delicious. A perfect blend of dark chocolate and apricot and a perfect texture too. I added them to my order as a special treat to myself and I'm so glad I did. Unlike the reviewer below, I don't mind the packaging -- these are different from J&K's hand-painted chocolates that need careful separation in the box, and I actually found the presentation cute.

These are amazing! The sweet tartness of the apricots and the not too sweet chocolate are a PERFECT combination. The box may a bit Spartan. The good news is it does not attract moochers!

not worth it

This item is so small and unappealing I asked for a refund and being the amazing company they are no questions asked refunded was given. they're in a box the size of a cell phone no paper or divider just sitting there. Not gift worthy in my opinion.
