Corporate Chocolate Gifts: The 2026 Guide for Clients and Employees

Corporate Chocolate Gifts: The 2026 Guide for Clients and Employees

John & Kira's makes handcrafted corporate chocolate gifts in Philadelphia, with custom boutique tags, logo cards, and an individual gift message for every recipient. No minimum order, and you can order gifts for multiple addresses with one large-order spreadsheet. For the holidays, order by December 15 for standard shipping.

A vendor sent a box of our chocolate bees to an office. Someone who works there left this review:

"We just got a box of bees delivered here to my office from a vendor, and they disappeared in minutes! They are fantastic! Scrumptious little bites of perfection!"

That's what a business gift is for. It gets opened, it gets shared, and people remember who sent it. This guide covers how to choose one, what it costs, how to put your name on it, and how to send it to one client or to two thousand.

Why chocolate works for clients and employees

People share it. More than one reviewer has told us the office box was gone within minutes. When a box goes around the room, everyone hears who sent it.

Clients bring it up. One customer has sent ours to clients for years: "I have sent these to clients for the last several years, and they are BY FAR the favorite. I get more comments about the figs; they like the towers, they like the fruit squares, but they LOVE the figs."

It thanks a team as easily as a client. Another customer wrote: "The Bees are a staple when it comes to sending a little thank you to our team!"

It can be something they haven't had before. We're a small company, a bit of a find, so there's a good chance your client is opening one of our boxes for the first time. Every bee is painted by hand. The figs come from a small family farm in Spain, and we fill each one with whiskey ganache before it's dipped in dark chocolate.

We've been at this a while. In February 2003, Gourmet magazine put our chocolates on its cover under the line "We Found Our Favorite Chocolates." They've also been written up in The New York Times, Cooking Light, Business Insider, and Parade. Today, our customer reviews average 4.5 stars.

Gifts by recipient

  • A client you want to thank. Chocolate Figs 12pc - Thank You, $46.95. These are the ones clients bring up afterward. They're made with whiskey, so choose something else for anyone who avoids alcohol.
  • Employees, one box each. Chocolate Honey Caramel Bees 9pc - Thank You, $35.95. Nine hand-painted bees, each with a liquid salted honey caramel center. They keep well too. They're best within 8 weeks at room temperature, which helps when boxes wait in a mailroom or go to people working from home.
  • A new client, or a deal just closed. Every Flavor Chocolates 15pc - Thank You, $44.95. It's a box of ganache squares in all ten of our flavors.
  • An office that will share. A gift tower, which is several boxes stacked into one gift. The Custom - Fig Barn Raiser Tower, $133.00, holds a 28-piece Every Flavor box, 15 Fruit Squares (our pâte de fruit), and 6 chocolate figs.

Each of the three Thank You boxes arrives with a thank-you tag or card attached.

Gifts by budget

Prices are per gift, before shipping and customization.

Budget per gift Good choices
Under $50 Chocolate Honey Caramel Bees 9pc - Thank You ($35.95), Every Flavor Chocolates 15pc - Thank You ($44.95), Chocolate Figs 12pc - Thank You ($46.95)
$50 to $100 Custom - Honey Caramel Bees 16pc ($55.95), Custom - Every Flavor Chocolates 28pc ($65.00), Custom - Fig Tower Petite ($76.00), Beehive Tower Grande ($98.00)
Over $100 Signature Tower ($114.00), Custom - Fig Barn Raiser Tower ($133.00), and up to the Tortoise & the Hare Tower ($284.00)

Add two things when you set a per-person budget. Shipping is a flat $15.95 or $19.95 per address, depending on where the gift is going, regardless of how much is in the box. A logo adds $1 or $3 per gift, unless you choose a product with "Custom" in its name, which already includes the $3 tag.

Customization: tags, logo cards, and gift messages

You have three ways to make the gift yours.

Boutique Tag, $3 per gift. Create a custom boutique tag to affix to any of our chocolate gifts in place of our standard John & Kira's tag. Printed in full-color on one of our letterpress-edged tag shapes to match each gift box, this format is ideal for individual boxes. With slightly textured, cream toned cardstock as a backdrop, Boutique Tags are excellent for logos and other strong graphics, but not recommended for artwork with full-color printed backgrounds.

Logo Card, $1 per gift. A full-color custom logo card adds both a personal and professional touch to any of our chocolate gifts. Rather than replacing the letterpress tags on our gift boxes, we print your selected image or design on a smooth-surfaced flat white card which is then tucked under the ribbon or cord of your gift. This format is perfect for gift towers, and the untextured white surface is the best option for photographs or logos that require a large or detailed printed background.

Gift message, free. Every gift comes with a message card of up to 200 characters, and each recipient can get a different message.

If you don't have a logo ready, there's a simpler route. In November and December, select best sellers come with a letterpress Christmas, Hanukkah, or Happy Holidays tag. Thank You and Congratulations tags are available all year.

Allow one week for any order with a custom tag or logo card. Send your logo as a vector file (SVG) if you have one, or as a high-resolution image, to business@johnandkiras.com. Our in-house designer can help with the layout. The full details are on our customization options page.

Ordering for multiple addresses

One spreadsheet carries the whole list, from 2 addresses to more than 2,000. Each row holds one recipient's shipping address, the gift you chose for them, and their message.

  1. Download the large-order spreadsheet.
  2. Fill in one row per recipient.
  3. Save it with your company's name in the file name and email it to business@johnandkiras.com.

If you have fewer than 15 addresses, ordering on the website may be faster. With more than 15, call us at 1.800.747.4808 and press 3 for Corporate Gifts.

Before you send the list, check the suite and apartment numbers. UPS treats an address without one as incomplete, and that leads to delays and address-correction fees.

Volume pricing

For the 2026 holiday season, advance orders placed by November 1 earn a volume discount on the gifts.

Total gift value Discount
Under $500 5%
$500 to $999 10%
$1,000 to $2,499 15%
$2,500 and up 20%

The discount applies to the total gift value, before customization and shipping. After November 1, regular prices apply. To place an advance order, call 1.800.747.4808 or email business@johnandkiras.com.

Holiday order-by dates

  • November 1. The last day for advance-order volume discounts.
  • One week. The lead time for custom tags and logo cards before your order ships.
  • December 15. The last day to order with standard shipping.
  • After December 15. We keep taking orders until Christmas by express: Express Saver until December 21, and Overnight until December 22.

Orders can ship the next day, and delivery takes 2 to 8 days from the ship date.

Questions corporate buyers ask us

Is there a minimum order?

No. Send one box to one client, or send boxes to more than 2,000 addresses.

What does shipping cost?

A flat $15.95 or $19.95 per address, depending on the destination. The rate is the same, however much is in the box. Your gift travels 2 to 8 days from our door to theirs, and in warm weather we pack every order with ice packs and insulation.

How long do the chocolates stay fresh?

We don't use preservatives or artificial flavors, so our chocolates are best eaten fresh. Bees are best within 8 weeks at room temperature. Ganache chocolates, including the Every Flavor squares and the figs, are best within 10 days at room temperature, or up to 5 weeks in the refrigerator. Fruit Squares keep up to 3 months wrapped and refrigerated.

What if a gift arrives damaged, or someone isn't happy with it?

We reship it or refund it. And when you call, a real person here in Philadelphia picks up, someone who knows the chocolates and the business.

Choose the gifts and send us the list. We pack each box with its own message and ship it to its own address, and if a gift isn't right, we reship it or refund it.

Two dates to keep in mind this season: November 1 for the advance-order discount, and December 15 for standard shipping. If you want your logo on the box, allow one more week.
