YUMMMMMMMMMMMY!
By Anne Ladenson
Wow. I don't think I've EVER had toffee like this. Much less brittle and more chewy. Super buttery and delicious - absolutely delectable!

Heavenly

My husband bought me the toffee set after some not-so-subtle hinting by me leaving the John & Kira catalog on his desk. These are so soft and delicious and taste unbelievably fresh. Toffee never tasted so good.

Disappointed
By Kiki
I'm sorry to say I was disappointed with this product. I'm a huge fan of John and Kira's and have always been pleased with everything I've ordered. There are two problems with the toffee. The first is the chocolate is too thick, or too strong. It overwhelms the taste of the toffee. I tried scraping off the chocolate and this brings me to the second problem, which is the toffee layer is too thin and the taste is bland. It's sweet but doesn't have the buttery complexity of a good toffee. Though not my favorite, the texture is okay, crispy at first then chewy at the end. l ordered caramels this year and love them. The honeybees are always a delight. As always, the packaging is divine. But the toffee recipe needs work. It's not up to the usual standards. I hope the candymakers go back to the drawing board on this one.

Simply Delicious!

These are the best chocolate toffees I have ever had. I ordered them for my dad and he also thought the same thing. We like the almond toffee the best.
