Happiest of Holidays Box 15pc
This 15 piece chocolate box is our most classic and popular holiday gift and features all ten of our award winning flavors.
To make them, we infuse real herbs and spices into fresh cream, such as just picked garden mint or fresh young ginger from the island of Molokai in Hawaii. The infused cream is then heated and poured over amazingly complex Valrhona milk or dark chocolate and mixed until a super creamy ganache is achieved. The ganache is then poured into a frame, allowed to set for 48 hours, and cut into one and a quarter inch squares. Finally, each delicate square is enrobed in a thin layer of 62% dark Valrhona chocolate and marked by hand with a fork. The brown and red box is finished with a letter-pressed card announcing "The Happiest of Holidays To You".
These chocolates put us on the map way back in 2003 when they were featured on the cover of Gourmet Magazine and declared to be their "favorite chocolates". The assortment hasn't changed a bit and remains our most popular gift.

SPOTLIGHT ON MUT VITZ COFFEE
The Mut Vitz cooperative is comprised of some 600 families from 26 communities in the self-proclaimed autonomous region of San Juan de La Libertad, located in the Highlands of Chiapas. Mut Vitz coordinates a network of 48 community promoters working to consolidate their own participative process for the transfer of technology and practical know-how for organic production. These promoters have led the cooperative through the organic certification process, and developed a shade grown coffee production system. The producers hope that by gaining direct control over the processing and sale of their coffee, they will be able to improve the standard of living and general well being of their members and communities.
