When refrigerated, our hand crafted chocolates are best if enjoyed within 1 month, however care varies from item to item:
Product Care for our Delicate Chocolates - Ganache-Filled Ladybugs, Chocolate Squares, Chocolate Figs, Chocolate Cherries, Chocolate Apples, Chocolate Oranges, Hand-Dipped Apricots, and Fruit Squares:
The majority of our products have a shelf life of 10 days when kept in a cool dry place (ideally 67 - 69 degrees Fahrenheit). "Shelf life" refers to the length of time the product will remain fresh after you receive it. Alternatively, our chocolates can be stored in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy for up to 4 weeks. It is best to wrap each box in several layers of plastic wrap before refrigerating to lock out moisture and odors. For the best tasting experience, bring chocolates to room temperature before indulging.
The following products have different care instructions: Store them at room temperature (ideally 67-69 degrees Fahrenheit):
Caramels, Bees, Praline Ladybugs, Tortoises, and Pumpkins - 2 months (Must be in a cool dry place.)
Toffee - 2 months (Unopened in a cool, dry place. Consume within 3 days once opened or keep in sealed container for two weeks.)
Urban Garden Bars - 5 months
Bunnies - 5 months
Remember, our chocolates taste best at room temperature so please allow them to sit out for a few hours before gifting (or devouring).
