Chocolates to lift your worries away!

I sent a box each to my mom and step-mom, both of whom we were feeling a little blue at the time. Packaged with charm and care, it is impossible to not smile when opening the box. Not only are they absolutely beautiful chocolates--seriously, they're whimsical!--but the flavors are delicious. I managed to sneak a chocolate from each box and whomever decided to make a ginger-root chocolate deserves a medal. The dulce de leche is a dream. These really brightened my loved ones' day! I love that they are a local company, always popping up at farmers markets and special Philly events, not to mention availability at local retailers. Highly recommend sending a sweet surprise from John & Kira's!

This is my favorite J&K product. It is one of the more visually pleasing collections, and I like the higher ratio of chocolate coating to filling compared to other collections!

I received these as a gift and I don't think I have ever felt so luxurious, decadent, adventurous, glamorous, and elegant. The chocolate and the interesting flavors were the highlight. They were delicious and original and rich and flavorful. But the idea of the hot air balloons and linking the flavors to different countries really elevated (ha ha) the experience. I'm a person who will scarf down chocolate right away. But this beautiful gift made me stop and savor each piece and really swept my imagination away, around the world.

Upon opening this perfect sky blue box your flight begins, and you discover these beautifully mastered Hot Air Balloons. You might hesitate as I did, to enjoy these superbly combined favors of each ballon, because of the level of craftsmanship. The adventure comes as you take each one out to discover the trivia hidden beneath each jewel of a balloon. The flavors and the packaging, as always, are elevated to another stratosphere. Which in this case is perfection.
