Our limited edition collaboration with Second District Brewing Company in South Philadelphia, featuring their Huy Nitro Stout and Bancroft Beer.
For the first flavor in this duo, our chocolatiers cook Second District's Vietnamese Coffee Nitro Stout into a jelly, then layer it with chocolate ganache made from Valrhona Jivara 40% milk chocolate. With a carefully layered balance of textures, this rich and roasty stout jelly finds its perfect complement in the lightly malty flavors of milk chocolate underneath.
Our second piece in this collaboration, Bancroft Beer Caramel, features our characteristically smooth caramel made with Second District's signature lager for a hoppy, malty blend of sweet and bitter, all encased in a 62% dark chocolate shell.
