This 28-piece fruit square assortment highlights strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and apricots, plus two new flavors: kiwi and pineapple. To make them, we heat pure fruit puree to a high temperature, mix in sugar and pectin in small amounts, then slowly cook the mixture until it arrives at just the right consistency. The puree is then poured into a square frame, allowed to cool, then cut into one and a quarter inch squares. Finally, the cut squares are tossed in organic sugar three separate times over a period of two days.

They are as fresh and supple as could be and are better than any French pate de fruits we have found.

SHELF LIFE — Our Fruit Squares are sensitive to changes in humidity and temperature. To ensure their quality, they are best stored wrapped in plastic and refrigerated, and can last for up to 3 months.

FRUIT SQUARES INGREDIENTS — Sugar, Glucose, Apricot Puree (apricots, invert sugar), Pineapple Puree (pineapple), Kiwi Puree (kiwi), Blackberry Puree (blackberries, invert sugar), Strawberry Puree (strawberries, invert sugar), Raspberry Puree (raspberries, invert sugar), Pectin, Citric Acid.

ALLERGENS — Made on shared equipment with tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and egg protein.

I purchased these for my Mom as a 'just because' gift knowing she loved jelly candies as she was growing up. She absolutely LOVED these. She passed away just 2 weeks ago and since I was going to give her another box on her upcoming Bday (April) now I will create a ritual of sending myself this box as a great memory of her.

My mother loves gummy fruit candies like those old fashion orange slices, but she's always particular about the texture and flavor; If it's too hard or the gelatin used makes it taste off to her, she won't eat it. I originally found these fruit squares at a John and Kira Stall during the Philadelphia Christmas Village, and now I buy them every year I can for her! She loves the texture and the flavor of every single variety in the box, and I agree! The candies taste the truest to their fruit than any other fruit flavor candy I've ever had, you will not find an artificial taste anywhere in this box. They're perfectly sweet, and are truly a delicacy. I only wish they made a large size than 28 peices!
