My dear old friend Dina started sending me John & Kira's a few years ago for special occasions... they are truly some of the most amazing chocolates ever! Now I am about to send some to another mutual friend back in Philly area. Something to cheer her up! Thank you for your incredible work and pride in what you do!

I bought this box for the lemon ganache. It is exceptional. So is the guanaja. The cappuccino is a treat. The milk and cookies flavor is cute. Muscovado was my least favorite of the five... I'd have preferred a salted flavor to round out the collection. Still, this new quintet of flavors is special. I'd buy this box again, for myself or as a gift for someone else. One more note: unlike other painted chocolates, I did not pick up any bitterness from the colors in this collection. A+
