These chocolate covered figs are as good as they get. We import tender, organic dried Calabacita figs from a small family farm in Spain then fill them ourselves with a silky smooth, whiskey infused blend of dark and milk chocolate ganache. They are then hand-dipped in 62% dark chocolate and carefully placed in their own gift box...finished with a letter-pressed card.
The press these figs have received would make any aspiring actor envious. They appeared, with John and Kira of course, on the Martha Stewart Show and have been featured not once but twice in Oprah's magazine. Wine Spectator loves them as well.

Ingredients and Care

SHELF LIFE — Items containing ganache are best enjoyed within 10 days when stored at room temperature, or may be stored for up to 5 weeks in the refrigerator.

CHOCOLATE FIGS INGREDIENTS — Organic Dried Figs, 40% Milk Chocolate (cocoa butter, whole milk powder, sugar, cocoa beans, brown sugar, natural vanilla extract, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, barley malt extract), 62% Dark Chocolate (cocoa beans, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla extract), 58% Dark Chocolate (cocoa beans, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla flavor), Heavy Cream, Butter, Whiskey, Invert Sugar.

CONTAINS — MILK. Made on shared equipment with tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and egg protein.
*May contain SOY - as we switch from using chocolate made with Soy Lecithin as an emulsifier to Sunflower Lecithin, individual boxes may list soy as an ingredient depending on the production batch.

THE BEST CHOCOLATE TREAT EVER

I don't even like chocolate that much. But these figs are D.I.V.I.N.E!!!!! My family sent me some last year and luckily this year they sent me more. They are so luscious and flavorful but not too sweet. Hands down my favorite chocolate treat ever.

I first had these amazing confections when my chocoholic sister-in-law introduced me to them knowing how much I love figs. So AMAZING! These have now become a favorite to gift-- and I have to agree with one of our gift recipients, "Unique and elegant!" Margaret Pothier, in the above review, brought one of these figs for me to try at work. Simply amazing! I immediately sent a box to my dad and mom in Michigan. They have not stopped raving about them since. And we are all tough critics. I think they actually fought over them. Amazing quality and really a heart warming gift to give. 6 stars!!

Figs to die for

My husband always seeks the best chocolate as he limits himself to one excellent piece with a bit of scotch most evenings. I avoid that habit for caloric reasons, but am absolutely hooked on the figs! They are the best of any chocolate I have ever tasted. Just exquisite in every way. Can't avoid these morsels.

I do adore dark chocolate and I do adore chocolate-dipped fruit, so I had high expectations of this gift box from a dear friend of mine. I have been buying treats from John & Kira for years now, and the chocolate figs remain my favorite. They are rich, without being too sweet. I'm not always crazy about figs by themselves, but with J&K's ganache, they are perfect.
