The Blenheim variety, once the most widely planted in the Santa Clara Valley region of California, fell out of favor in the 1960s, as other earlier maturing and easily transportable varieties won over. They have seen a resurgence however at local farmer's markets where long distance shipping is not an issue.

Our Blenheims are grown and then dried by Fairhaven Orchards in Hollister, CA. They are both sweet and tart with an intense aroma of honeysuckle. These treats are very different from the Turkish variety that is most often sold by chocolatiers. Unlike their foreign counterparts, our apricots are not soaked in a sugar solution so they are drier, but much tastier. We think you will love them!

SHELF LIFE — Our Apricots are sensitive to changes in humidity and temperature. To ensure their quality, they are best stored wrapped in plastic and refrigerated, and can last for up to 3 months.

CHOCOLATE APRICOTS INGREDIENTS — Dried Apricots (apricots, sulphur dioxide), 62% Dark Chocolate (cocoa beans, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla extract).

ALLERGENS — Made on shared equipment with tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and egg protein.
*May contain SOY - as we switch from using chocolate made with Soy Lecithin as an emulsifier to Sunflower Lecithin, individual boxes may list soy as an ingredient depending on the production batch.
