This assortment of 56 handmade chocolates covers all ten of our flavors, including Bergamot, Garden Mint and Raspberry. Each ganache is flavored to perfection by Jess our head chocolatier, then cut by hand and enrobed in a thin layer of 62% dark Valrhona chocolate. The squares are then hand-packed in delicate boxes that are finished with a letter-pressed card that reads "A Very Happy Mother's Day to You".

Not many herbs have such a long and salubrious history as Ginger. More than 5000 years ago the ancient Chinese and Indians looked upon Ginger as the 'universal medicine'. It has received praise from Confucius and Pliny. Nostradamus wrote recipes for Ginger preserved in honey and the Koran mentions a fountain of Ginger-flavoured water.

The ancient Greeks ate ginger wrapped inside bread after meals to help digestion, and the early English made a soothing ginger beer to aid the stomach.

Ellen Sugawara's biodynamic ginger is some of the best we have ever tasted. It is grown and cultivated on a small farm adjacent to a 14,000 acre land preserve on the rugged and untouched island of Molokai. It is shipped directly to us and then gently steeped in fresh cream and mixed with Valrhona milk chocolate.
